I attended New York University College of Dentistry and earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry with a Minor in Biology from Boston University. I am a strong advocate of continuing education and I enjoy attending and participating in seminars and lectures. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the Ninth District Dental Association. I have advanced training in dentistry for all ages, implant dentistry, and of course smile design & cosmetic dentistry. I am married with 3 children.
About the staff... I am extremely fortunate to work with such a wonderful staff. I truly enjoy going to work each day with people who share my philosophies. We treat our patients the way we treat our families and friends...with courtesy and respect. We will address your concerns and questions with patience and understanding. We Listen. We work with many people who came to us following years of neglecting their mouths because of fear and apprehension. We are proud that these people feel at ease in our office and can now look forward to keeping their teeth, feeling good, and looking great.
A generation ago most people expected to go through old age with dentures. Dentures can improve appearance and speech but they are far from perfect. They restore less than 20% of the chewing ability provided by natural teeth and they can cause discomfort and interfere with tasting. Some people find dentures embarrassing. Teeth can be like dominos. If a tooth is lost and not replaced more strain is put on the remaining teeth which can lead to multiple tooth loss and shifting. Today most people can expect to keep their teeth longer due to better dentistry combined with better homecare. Todays tooth replacements are better too. Implants and ceramic crowns and bridges look great, don't interfere with taste, and restore 100% chewing ability. Although much has changed in dentistry our goal is to help you take care of your teeth so you can keep them as long as possible. We are proud to provide innovative dentistry in a comfortable and caring environment.
